Join the Student Leadership Program 2011/2012 and start to volunteer!

After registering with us as a student volunteer, you are cordially invited to participate in our orientation, training and volunteer activities throughout the year. We have more than 30 charity partners and a wide range of activities. Below are some examples of regular activities:

• Weekly home visits with the elderly
• Mentoring programs at youth centers
• Walking dogs and caring for abandoned animals
• Helping kids with homework at schools or community centers
• Teaching ethnic minorities to speak in Cantonese

Or if you are willing to share your unique talents, we can make the below possible:

• Musical performance for an elderly home
• Photography instruction for youth
• Assisting under-resourced charities with artwork, IT issues and other administrative works

How will you benefit from the Program?

• Receive Certificate of Services after 10 hours of services!
• Receive awards: the best three volunteers will be given a special distinction awards and recommendation letters from HOHK!
• Meet and get to know students from your own and other universities who are as enthusiastic and energetic as you!
• Develop personally through professional training provided by experienced social workers!
• Experience the satisfaction of helping and contributing!
• Gain leadership experience: the program also provides leadership opportunities through Project Coordinator roles. If you are interested in taking this leadership opportunity, kindly let us know when you register!
